While I cant say this is canoeings most wanted, it is interesting to note the look on the face of my inexperienced bow paddler who was somewhat less than enthusiastic when I talked him into doing this run of the North Saskatchewan river with me in the Province of Alberta. It was a great five day trip and thankfully during the rapids at least, no one dumped!

Now that is a good picture, resembles a kayak though

Spray decks or no spray decks its an excellent picture. Myself and LAS247 paddle tandem in my 16 ft we never use decks slows us down too much

From what i was told the swamped Bob Special you were towing was probably doing the job of slowing you down as good as anything
