Thats funny Dave, the first thing I said to myself when I saw that picture was... "WOW, that looks exactly like many of the places I paddle!"
This was from Nootka Sound last year, on the water too long that evening and it marked the beginning of three solid days of non stop rain.
It was beautiful when it ended a few two nights later though...

This was taken mid afternoon in August 2007 on the River Ant Norfolk. It was our first real canoe camping holiday.
We did try to out run it....
