Hello Everyone. I live in South-East Kent and paddle the tidal Stour below Canterbury. Enjoy the peace and quiet paddling mid-week, ably assisted by my two terriers. Would like to undertake some camping trips in the future when I become a better paddler. I found it impossible to get any instruction for Canadian canoes in this part of the UK, so have been learning the hard way from a book!
Hope to see some of you on the water soon.

Nothing wrong with learning from a book I did by reading Bill Mason's Path of the Paddle.
Just keep an eye out on the "out and about" section for meets, you will be made more than welcome

Only kidding. There is a real easy relaxed atmosphere here which I'm sure you'll enjoy, and plenty of knowledgeable types to fire questions at. Not sure what kind of answers you'll get back but we live in hope.
