Ian.

Firstly, never get into a position where you could get caught in one, but if you do well it depends on circumstances on how you get out, walk, climb, swim or cut your way out.

Most people carry a rescue knife with them, some carry collapsible saws.

Just avoid them at all cost is the motto Wink

You seem to be popping up everywhereWink. What happened to the campfiretent?
What are "strainers". Don't think I like the sound of them whatever they are.
Ian.

Hi Ian I do like to get about the place.....Wink

We are still making and using our campfire tents but this was an impulse evilbay purchase and we had been kicking about the idea of making a tent of this style. So I wanted to know how it performed before we stumped up a load of cash for the materials and time making it. Just to find out they are a pig to put up and use. Having patched this one up and having had a play in this, we are currently at the design stage with a few mods to make it our design.
The tent is bomb proof and older than me joy So we should be going into production soon.......basically I want as many tents as I can have......and as Lin makes them its just up to me to point at a style, suggest how we could change it to make it better ( in my opinion, some would disagree) then stump up some cash for the materials and Lin makes it.........Lifes good to me sometimes Whistle

Strainers are nasty and to be avoided. Others have given a better answer than I could.

Cheers Greg
Rolleyes All the requisite photos_ kayak, canoe, cows, tent, well stacked BBQ and dog resting head of thwart. Nice one.
