Rolleyes Nice photos .

TGB
Some nice photos there Baggy Smile
Thanks both

I thought I should show the images because I spend a lot of time at Papermill Lock (I run the web site) but rarely see paddlers on the navigation. Which is a shame as the stretch between Papermill Lock and Maldon is really very nice.

Best wishes

Mark, why don't you load a couple of pictures up to the forum, in the places section and add a few words this may encourage more paddlers to explore the delights of the navigation Smile

OK, I will do that over the weekend, I have photos and a also a map somewhere.

I'm of to have a look at "places"...
That shows the difference a good photographer makes to a picture. Well done Baggy looks idyllic.

I live in Danbury/Bicknacre.

Thanks, it is idyllic but can wake up a bit if there is a lot of rain. A friend recently had her narrow boat pushed into trees and sunk near papermill lock.

Note there is free parking at papermill lock (the car park is relatively new) the entrance is on the little baddow side of the bridge, just after the tiny staff car park.

Later....
I have just read

so you obviously know the area well.
