Hello All,
I feel like a complete virgin. First posting. New to paddling and hoping to buy my first canoe later in summer. So please be gentle. Any advice to a poor newbie would be welcome!
Thanks,
Ken

Welcome to C-waV Ken, glad you made it onto here. Advice is no problem as we have all been there, just starting out, some of us still are! So don't be afraid to ask! Looking forward to hearing about the new canoe when you get it. Exciting times ahead mi thinks. Hope to catch up with you on the water sometime.

Welcome aboard Ken

don't worry we all had to start somewhere.

Welcome, welcome Ken
This lot will see you through whatever is needed. Just be aware that some of us are just less novice than others so you will always be paddling with someone of your own skill level.
Hi Ken,
I'm new to this too, welcome to C-waV

Hope you enjoy.
Hi Ken and welcome to the wonderful world of canoeing and CWaV

Hi Ken, and a warm welcome to the forum, most has already been said by my canoeing friends, what ever you do, dont be afraid of asking those questions that might at the time seem silly, I can assure you that no one will ridicule you in anyway, and as already said join in any meet you will be made welcome, catch you on the water sometime, so in the meantime Welcome and Happy Paddling.
Regards Bill
Hi Ken,
I'm new here too.
Hope you lose your virginity soon.. I lost mine on Monday to a comely North American Indian lass called We-No-Nah...
You don't say where you're from... the convention seems to be measured (rather enigmatically) in 'minutes from Coniston'.
Cheers,
Duck Feet.

Good to have you along for the trip.
