Yep you certainly would have displaced a lot of water with all that kit, bet the water level rose 2 feet when you launched Wink
I'll never get over all these tents you guys have, I'm still borrowing, begging and stealing my friends, and sometimes just putting up with an noisy blue tarp!

I should have been out there with you Bill, I could have used my new pulleys to set up the bear cache before bed Cheers
Ahh......The memories. I think I can remember!!

Hi Graeme, as you know my expertise on Canoeing is very limited, My little trips out with such a heavily laden canoe are two fold,
1, I just wanted to see how much gear/kit/weight, the canoe would take and how it would handle, I was pleasantly surprised I paddled from the stern and it handled perfect,it seemed as if I had better control, in fact I can say I did have better control, being as most of the weight was in the bottom of the canoe it made stability first and secondary perfect. Once I had got the canoe moving it was quite easy to maintain an acceptable speed, could get a bit more kit in now, like Cobb cooker, with bag of charcoal, and maybe half a lambWhistle.

Oh yes the second reason,

2, Because I can,TongueDevilWhistlejoy

Best Regards Bill

Nice one Bill Wink

You may even have room for a shower cubicle as well, that would be a sight to see Whistle

Trim is an important issue so looks like your experiment is going well Smile
