Well today 8th June is the official date when Canoe with a View was born. So much has happened over the last twelve months its left me with the difficulty of knowing what to say really. It seems fitting that we nearly have 200 members, and its those amongst you that has taken C-waV to your hearts that has more than helped with its success, and I do consider it to be a success, so for this alone I thank you.

Cheers Cheers everyone!
It's been a delight,Ive met up with some top blokes this year and no doubt will met up with more as the year goes on,its a great site and many thanks to you and your mods for making it the "dog's" let's hope we have many more birthday paddles to celebrate in the future
Keep up the good work and thanks
Firstly a big thanks to the members, you guys make this place what it is, thanks to the retailers and coaches for there specialist help and C-waV discounts, A special thanks to Nige for bring a mate and for starting it and the staff for maintaining all the behind sceen's stuff.

THE FIRST OF MANY
Nige didn't just start it, he RUNS and ADMINISTERS the site on a day to day basis, and not only has to put up with the Host and Members issues, but also the "Staff" antics.

Without Nige the site would not have come into existence, and, in other's hands, would have failed several times during the past year.

So for me, it's a simple...

Thank you Nige, for all your hard work over the past year, although we don't perhaps acknowledge it enough, we do appreciate it.

Cheers
Red.

It's all down to the 'unique' personalities on the forum that has made the site a success. Happy Birthday to you all.

Happy Birthday C-waV

Well ive been a member of a few different forums, motorbikes, climbing, bushcraft etc etc, and ive never really been drawn to actually going on meets with any of them. Most forums just seem too serious, and although ive enjoyed the forums, they have never really attracted me enough to wanting to meet any members.

CvaW is the first and only forum ive ever had the pleasure of being called a member of, and actively sought to go out with other members of it. I cant really put my finger on it but Nige, and every other member make this place what it is.

So thanks to all, especially Nige, for making my canoeing so enjoyable.Cheers
Thank you everyone for all the great comments, very much appreciated. I would like to add that the year has been up and down for the forum and I and staff have been tested on a number of occasions with various issues and we have tried to deal with these fairly, albeit with a few mistakes, but we are still learning! So I would like to apologise if at anytime any of you feel that you have been on the receiving end of unjust treatment, and would like to assure you that the essence of the C-waV community is still the same, friendly, non-judgemental, non serious, often funny place that it started out as and will remain so!

Cheers to you all, and here's to the next year, so stick around. And to those of you that feel a little intimidated by all this internet forum stuff, don't be! Join in, you'll be most welcome.

All the best.
Thanks Nige an absolute Gem
