Hi all,

I should be getting my Bell Yellowstone tandem in a few weeks and was wondering about how to personalise it.

Its not really gonna be used tandem, so im looking to make it just a solo boat, ( Bell Yellowstone solo is too tippy for my lack of experience ).

So maybe take the bow seat out, add a kneeling thwart, and lacing. Not sure wether to drill or use p clips ?

What else should i be thinking of ?

The Hat.

Yes mate...never to be seen near rocks !Smile
Okay you need to check LAS247 fit out TT of his Bell as they have very unique Gunwales, I would leave the seats in but that's personnel choice I always find them handy for putting stuff under and strapping stuff to them.
I would go for the Retro/L247247 (see links) fit out method you will need to talk to Lee about what length bolts for the gunwales.
I wouldn't bother with air bags as its a touring boat as you can then use the extra space for kit for the trips you will be coming on Wink
Even though a K/T is the tool of WW, I find one use full for getting the weight near the centre line, removable yoke and foam matting.
Plus a Pole and Sail Tongue

At the end of the day Paul out fitting is very personal some prefer to do nothing and go with the pure essence of the canoe and others go mad and fill there canoes with every attachment going adding weight and stuff they will never use paddling the local canal for half a day.
