I have started to build a sailing rig for the Mohawk

Where do I find 'easy price' rip stop nylon?

Thats "Abakhan fabrics" if you want to find the web site ,
There,s also some dacron sail cloth,and ripstop nylon on eBay
Let us know how you get on ,
I,m also just about to start making a sail ,
I would be glad of any tips,hints etc

first stop for me would be
does anyone i know have an old tent i can use
or know someone with one. with the price of cheap tents these days some folkd dont even bother to pack their tents up after a holiday
there must be campsites that throw away cheap tents left on a regular basis

Been giving the sail some thought whilst on hols,also having whats left of my Quechua tarpWhistle so will start with the MK III version soon, hopefully ready for the broads adventure, Andy.

Rig built after......well too long and now I cannot find that damned material
any one got some they don't need?

i used a cut down wind surfer sail,
you can get them free from sailing clubs,
they replace them once a year and just throw the old ones awayWink
