Thought I'd share this gem with you:
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are camping. As they settle down for the night the Holmes asks, "Watson, look up into the darkness and tell me what you see". Watson replies, "Why, I can see millions of stars'. "And what does that tell you?" Holmes inquires. "Many things, my dear Holmes", says the good doctor. "Astronomically, it tells me there are billions of galaxies in the cosmos and theologically it tells me that God is truly great and that we are nothing but insignificant beings. Meteorolgically, it tells me that we will have a chance of a good day tomorrow. But I doubt none of this matches your powers of deduction. What does it tell you?" Watson asks. Holmes puffs strongly on his pipe and answers: "My dear Watson, it tells me somebody's nicked the damn tent".
