A KAYAK !!!!!!!!!
Now after a few of you guys have picked yourself up off the floor. I have got a pyranha mountain bat in yellow.
I dont know why but I like it. We only went down to the shops for some clothes softener and a spare paddle and I came home with a kayak with SWIMBO's full blessing

Piccys of my first trip out to follow soon...... Nobody will ever get close to me on the swim league now

AWWWW come on Bill, open canoes will always be my craft of choice...

I am still reeling from the purchase and cant really believe it. After all the stick I have given yaks ( all tongue in cheek

) I full expect tons and tons of stick back ....If you cant take it dont give it I say

Its all your fault........nah not really I am planning on training to be a coach and as such I need to kayak ( dam the BCU for this

) . So when I saw this for the right price it I got out the cash...... One of the selling points was that when I sat in it I didnt want to immediately get out so it was sold.

it now makes 3 boats in my fleet.
16 foot apache cowmoo.
14 foot apache smurf.
Pyranha mountain bat in yellow.
Opens are always the way to go. just had to learn how to kayak for the coaching awards.........
Greg
Just seen the leaked picture on Facebook, nice craft. However, in the pic you look a tad worried.
I would put a link up but don't think it'll work.

I have mate. Dont worry we are not all leaving the fold

They have yet to build a yak that will hold all of my brew kit

yet alone my butty bag
The way I am viewing it is its like dieting .....I dont want to but alas I must......
See you down at the River Wye meet for a

or two
Greg
I'd give you some stick, but I've been doing far more kayaking than canoeing recently, just so I can do my 4* which will allow me to assess the Touring 3*. I'd love to know why I have to paddle lots of WW day trips in a kayak so I can teach an award that involves no white water, but they keep holding up hoops and I keep jumping through.
Enjoy the boat, I've been pleasantly suprised with how much I'm enjoying my little boat, I get to surf tiny ripples and hit eddies that I can barely fit my bum in. Hope you get the same buzz.

Go for it Greg....
There need to be a lot more Coaches around that are in it for the love of it, rather than some sort of Cudos or One Upmanship....
Saarlak and Adam being two, very sound coaches that instantly spring to mind...
Cheers
Red.

A pale custard yellow. But hey, it's a kayak.
