Are there any members up for a Chelmer & Blackwater meet next month (November) weather permiting?
I could be up for trip - would need to ask The BOSS (aka SWMBO), but I don't see any problem. Where abouts?? Any plans??

I'm coming over from Buckinghamshire - t'other side of London. Compared with some of my trips this year, practically local - only a couple of hours away.

Hi Pete
I was just going to email you a link to this thread..
> I'm in
Glad to hear that :-)
I'm pretty keen to try out my hammock etc. I wonder if any of you would be interested in a little wild camp on the Saturday night? Anyone have any experience of camping on the C&B? I'm happy to approach any landowners etc etc
the best person to ask is Hugh Turner, he is the IWA manager for the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation.
Okay, I'll do that!
Out of interest, will he be (hopefully) giving permission in his own right, or referring me to the appropriate landowner?
