Hi guys am off to pontins at prestatyn next Friday and wondered if anyone knew any rivers or lakes or anywhere I can take my open or my c1 for a bit of a potter for a few hours in that area?

Hi Ian,

Snowdonia is just around the corner, so you've got a huge choice of lakes and rivers, the Conwy is probably the nearest to you. Then a bit further you've got Llyn Gwynant and the like.

And of course you've got the Dee estuary, just around the other corner, and the Menai Straights (but be careful the tides are tretcherous).

cheers red will definatly head off somewhere wen everyone is doing my head in especially on the sunday before we are due to head back as they will be drinking and being designated driver i miss out yet again

Go play on the waves, me thinks the sea is not liable to dry up for the next few years

Nip over to Conway and shoot up the estuary with the tide and back down when it turns. An interesting run

cheers for the suggestions guys i still dunno fully where am gonna go but will definatly be contemplating ur suggestions and graeme iv not got anymore room at the moment for another boat but if i did i think it would be a mohawk rodea rather than a sit on top not my cup of tea really although i did play a good game with one not so long ago you get a 2 seat version flip it upside down on the water and see how many people you can get stood up on the bottom before all hell breaks loose and you all fall in it was good fun
