Hello,
I have been mooching about ill today and have been bouncing from web-surfing to tidying up the house.
I was really taken by the idea of using a fire box to reduce the fire damage to the camping area, and really liked what I saw of them on the EOSM - so I have ordered one ... and while I wait for it to arrive have been weighing up my cooking options.
I think I might follow after Bill in as much as I have more than the one ... urm, two ... well several stoves anyway. I have also decided that I want dedicated pots for open fire cooking so that I dont smoke damage the nice pots I stick in my rucksack while mountaineering - like this one:

I decided my first buy would have to be an enamel coffee pot and I have been scouring the local charity shops in eager hopefullness. Then I discovered this (for £3.75 in my local store):

I figured it would be ideal for a quick water boil, big enough to wash in, big enough for soups and stews etc.
Then I saw a link provided by Tim (and coincidentally Ray Mears using one of the enamel cooking pots on his programme last night) for this company:
http://www.touring-gear.com//categories/...e-Kitchen/
Now I need to get clearing my kit out in order to buy one of the coffee pots (with internal filtery thingy) ... which brings my back to my first point ... what do you use for your open fire cooking???
