Must have been one Devil of a night?

But you know what they say "Once a King always a King, but once a Knight is enough Wink )

I've just managed to get hold of a Palm RT Whitewater - they had one in Whitewater in my size (XL).

I've been thinking about getting one for a while as most BA's are too short and don't fit my shape (don't Tim Big Grin )

We're seriously thinking about doing the WWSR course when it gets a bit warmer - In that case I wanted a BA with a harness, but also one with a front zip to go over a drysuit.

I'd better start practicing my knots!!

Found a difference! my Delta Ranger has 50n of buoyancy, the 2010 Nookie River Monster has 80n! Also my red palm BA's front zip felt too easy to "unzip" I feel the need!!!!!

i highly recommend the Palm Extrem EV River Bouyancy Aid 2010 for me i tried someones in december and it felt very comfy has full quick release chest harness front entry quad buckle with velcro and a pouch at the back for a camel back water pouch it is easy to get in and out with has large pockets on the front is very comfy to wear and has padded shoulder straps so you can carry your boats on your shoulder without it digging in too much.
cheers iain.

Hahaha Big Grin knew you would find an excuse in the end Wink

The new River Monster has a smaller front profile than the old one, here is a good video of it showing the new features.

Not a bad price at £114.99 retail for all these features for a WW BA.
No Nookie in stock.......however there was a fair stock of Palm stuff and a the Peak River Guide, I discounted the Extreme EV as it looked too bulky at the front and Oh the price.......... I tried on a few,the River Guide was ok The Axis was comfy, the Amp was more so it gripped my rib cage comfortably it wasn't as bulky at the front as I imagined, plenty of freedom to use my paddle.

guess what I came away with...... the Extreme EV.......why cos it feels the same as the Amp but a front opening......I am pleased with my purchase and can't wait to get it wet!

I agree with Iain. The Palm Extrem is the one I chose. On the 3* weekend I didn`t really notice it, so I guess it was a good fit & no need to Kep adjusting it to keep it comfy. The front fastening makes it easy to put on without having to break your shoulders to do so.
Did you ask for a good price?

Oh, I seem to have missed your (Tims) last post, so no need to read this one now.
