Ok I have a spec boat/SWWC, now I am looking for a decent dry suit for minimum spondoolies, reading reviews it looks like a DAM or a Lomo suit £250 or less, £249 short of what I have BUT 25 years service at work I am due for summink, + X-mas + birthday = dry suit, I had looked at the Reed paddling suit but they recommend for canoeing overtrousers, can't be bothered with that so Reed are out, any more suggestions? I feel it must be a dry suit as I have paddle trs and cag for general touring/tripping, just want summink for silly stuff. oh I have a wet suit but NEED summink for colder weather.........

Cheers

Two options really, DamX really good made to measure suit, heavyweight material but hard wearing and a reasonable price,,, or the Palm Torrent drysuit, I swapped by Typhoon suit for a Palm one because of the weight and ease of movement, not tried paddling in a DamX one but I think they are highly rated, Janet has a DamX maybe worth asking her??

As for the Lomo, they do seem to be a bit short on sizes? but a nice suit (as long as it is not yellow)

hi Greame
Wow just googled the Torrent £400+
As for the yellow Lomo....so I'll look like a banana..... I'm not proud, and you'll see me as I float by minus the big red boat....

cheers

Agh, you spotted the downside to the Torrent Sad yes I do admit it is expensive but good kit Wink

To be honest have a good look at a DamX one, at least you can get it made to measure for a reasonable price and it will last for years Wink
