OK so has anyone finalised their winter training programme? If so a little questionnaire
What are your objectives?
What are your goals?
How are you going to achieve them?
What is your completion date?
When are you going to go training?
What sites are you going to use?
Are you getting enough support?
This is mainly for a bit of fun, but there maybe a chance that we could all meet up on a couple of days and share some time and coaching each other?
I have my training plan & know my goals - which unfortunately won't be easy, so I'll have to work hard
I won't disclose my goals, but it may have something to do with becoming a master / veteran next year.
Thankfully Mark paddles this much & is supporting me.
Training, each week
Mon - Marple - Womens C1 - technical
Tue - Marple - K1 - Fitness
Thurs - Marple - K1 or C1 - fitness
Fri - Macc Canal - K1 - fitness, 4 minute sprints
At least 1 days slalom training at the weekend.
Sat 21st Nov - Matlock - C1
Sun 22nd Nov - HPP - K1
That's in addition to the gym 3 times a week (mon, wed & fri - concentrating on fitness, flexibility & core stability), Nordic walking every other week. Plus badminton (hopefully once a week - wed). Also lots of bits of sport at college, including trampolening

.
Blimey, you never know I might be thin as a rake next time you see me.

That may not be the right answer Red, you need to practice getting to gate 20 without the fag break

I have a few new issues, similar to yours, to deal with right now...
Training ain't on my mind...
Cheers
Red.
I am starting out slowly i am hoping to get out off site as much as possible but minimum every other week as well as on site training 2 - 3 times plus flat water training and taking up swimming again for fitness so far not too badly am off to hpp for second time this month in my c1 on sunday plus iv been to alot of pool sessions and jj's a couple of times too
I feel bad now because Im not doing much training
Monday and Wednesday polo training so that's sprint and endurance.
Hopeing to go HPP more often but not every week but doing K1.
C1 training has to wait til it gets warmer with my knee at the moment

Well HPP is still open at the moment despite all the rain, so fingers crossed for Sunday, don't know what the river level is like at Matlock as the Don has risen around here but should be a goer

As much as I am ware of what you are saying, lets not go down that route please.
Hmm time for the camera to come out of hiding for tomorrow for the group at Matlock training.
The League Table will not alter as it is not a C-waV trip, so please feel free to swim as much as you want
I think some members are planning on some retail therapy whilst the other stalwarts

there nuts off (if they have any of course, thinking that it maybe difficult for the ladies

) they will just have to

off other parts of the body
Sounds like a fun day

Good session, plenty of hard work

and a nice water level
