Yes can't wait to use it, but i have another three more paddle blanks ready to be worked on . A copy of simons chieftan and another ottertail and a voyageur paddle for georgia, which are all different lengths.

Fun to do isn't it. I made my first paddle a short while ago and used it for the first time recently :-)
Next for me is a Northwoods and then an Ottertail.

That looks very nice. Hope you get a lot of enjoyment using it.
I did a bit more work on a paddle myself yesterday, I started it months ago then it just sat in a corner whilst I gathered up the courage to start thinning down the blade.
Must get it finished now even I leave the blade a bit chunky I can always take more off later.
