I have been canoeing along this lovely canal a lot this year and it has grown to be one of my favourite places. Seeing it through all of the seasons you do get a fair appreciation of the place. So I thought I would collect together a few of my favourite photographs and lay them out for you to enjoy. Some you might recognise from TTs but I have tried to include some that have not yet been shown.

Please, enjoy the Caldon canal through the seasons

Hi Nige, and of course everyone else, I think I can speak for Jammy as well as my self, when I say how rewarding it is for someone to show such an appreciation of a very small part of the Canal system that we have grown up with, my own personal memory of the area dates back to the early 1950's never dreaming of the impact it would have on me in later life.
So thank you Nige for your Photographic appreciation, and goes without saying that are always welcome to visit us, as are all our friends.
Warmest Regards Bill

He is always there Winter through to Summer, and has been for over a Hundred years, and probably will still be there when we mere mortals have departed. My Old Friend.
