Right the time has come along again to top up the kit locker in readiness for a restart in the coming new year Smile

Now my favoured paddle supplier has gone AWOL how do I get my hands on one of these? And...... which one? Or........ Who can make me one

Nice wide blade important at 60" - 62"
Have you tried Endless River?

Cheers

Biff

Shouldn't the Brookbank Canoe show be on this year? failing that there is the boat and leisure show, there is usually a few canoe shops there.

According to the CanoeExpo web site there are no plans to run it in 2010!
Shame, I thought it was a good show.

I'd have a go at making one for the price of the wood. BUT 60"-62" WIDE... that's more like a bread paddle for a weekend meet with Warthog and friends!!!

What possible use could one have for that?

On a positive note, it'd help shave some pounds off after a christmas feast!

Now you have got me thinking.
When not out paddling could use it as a surfboard

Mike, I'll take you up on your offer thank you.
Would you like a bottle of something to wash the saw dust away whilst working on it?
Hi Sir J,

I'm sure something can be arranged on a meet sometime Cheers

Now, when would you require delivery of said bread paddle so I can plan in the work. Also what wood would thoust prefer? i need to find a good plank or two!

Mike
Excellent start to my new season. March would be great

Wood? Hmmm let's see...........................
Crumbs I don't know Shy
Something off a posh building site? Rolleyes

Got it

Something to match the colour of a fair maidens hair Devil
With a few 'golden' highlights

A Knight I may be
A woodcutter never
So fit me out
For all endeavour

Without the leaves
Without the bark
Could be light
or Could be dark
