Our awesome female moderator Heather is competing again this time in division 1 ladies canoe polo. Heather will be hitting the water this Saturday in Coventry. She will be up against some hard teams especially the team made up of the Great Britain players but she will survive as she will be playing in a team with some of the best female players white rose have to offer and trying to keep the goals out and the team up.
So I hope you will all join me in wish Heather all the luck you have to offer for Saturday.

As you will see it is a nice friendly no contact sport

Well last training session last night before the weekend and the team did really well against the men
and no injuries
Well serious training on Friday night, large quantities of Amaretto, Vodka and Sambuca should see the team fit and well for Saturday night

After 3 hard matches the girls finished with 1 draw and unfortunatly 2 losses but the girls gave it there all and tried thier hardest.
So well done girls
Well done Heather and the rest of the Girls, I know its a bit of a cliche, but it really is the taking part that is the main thing, after all I know that winning is best and everybody loves a winner. It is but a game and be proud you were a part of it. Well Done.

Are first game was against top of the league team from Liverpool there team is made up of GB players and the top 2 female paddlers in the world so going down 7-0 was not too bad really as they have quite a few shots on.
Are second game was agains Chrewell and this was a really good game as we scored in the 1st half and just played the ball round, unfortunatly they scored there goal with only 20 seconds left so did not leave long for a come back but we attemped a shot from half way just as the whistle went.
Are last game was against a team from London who are close to the top of the league but we went down 8-1.
It was a really good night and lets hope we do as well at the next one.
