Cool....Ish...
It was showing -6.8 at 06:45 this morning here....
But by the time the Sun rose we were bathed in positively balmy +1 and sunshine..
I think we'll be OK with that on the Weaver...

It was -8 at 08:45 here.......I thought it was cold when I walking the dogs in the woods earlier and then I go into the car to go to work and found it was
I will have to see whats happening closer to the weekend.

Sadly the sun was shining and it was 12 o'clock.
Saw plenty of salt on the A66/A1 on the way home, some idiots in big yellow trucks were throwing it everywhere!
Love to join you, but don't fancy the drive over this weekend, think somewhere close to home maybe the order of the day

Ahh, well, mibbie we'll take a few shovel fulls into a few into bags and save it for those councils that are wasting it... (Including our's)...
Should be worth more than gold in 9 days time.....
And I'm guessing that Cheshire (either West or East) will be one of the councils that run out, even though they have the largest Rock Salt mine in Europe within their boundary....

Hi All, Are we for going down the Salt Mines on Sunday, anyone give us a 10:33 on the roads in and around the 10:20.
Regards Bill
looking at the forecast it is doubtful for me.
Looks like I am going to have to suffer with a warm fire, copious amounts of coffee served by the staff (Lady J-D) and head in the newspaper. Something I haven't done for months

Looks as though the Salt Mine paddle is off, my mate is too busy, my other mate prefers Coffee and a paper, doesnt anyone want to play great weather for Hammocking Guys

Regards Bill
Yep, this is definately off, the Dee is frozen so there's no hope for the Weaver below Winsford....
Cheers
