Excellent idea for thread Tim, this is assuming that members have a canoe related desktop picture.

Here is mine that I am using both at home and on the works PC.

Luke and Aiden on the Wye EoSM`09

Alas my PC at work has a standard Desktop "they" won't allow any one to customise it. If I were to have one it would be this one.....
About 0730 and about -8 one Friday morn, not me driving it this time.
My company toy/car........"the big 'un" great fun when on the road.

Hi Tim, That's a very nice Desk top picture of you and I presume your daughter Nancy, and probably taken by Mandy, I can well understand your liking for it, which confirms my believe that this sport/pastime we indulge in is best when shared with our loved ones, and of course shared with good friends.
Now as to depicting my favourite is difficult as I have a sort of rolling desktop picture/Pictures and probable like you have so many and to choose a favourite is so difficult, But probable one of my favourites is one that was taken by Aslan, which he called The Three Generations, depicting My Daughter Susan her son Ben and I, also in the picture is a good friend of mine Jeff (Nomadpaddler)
It was our first paddle on a large lake (Ullswater) so it was with some trepidation we set out, Sue as Bow paddler for Jeff, and tongue in cheek, Ben as my Bow paddler. He just loved it when the Steamer went by and we rode the wash, if you could bottle his excitement, it would be worth a fortune.


I now must apologise for hijacking your post and waxing lyrical about my picture, hopefully you will understand.

Yup you are right Bill, you can see the tip of Mandy's boat poking into veiw.
