hi i know this isn't a campsite however whilst attend a white water safety and rescue course in december i came across this fantastic hostel for £17 per person per night light breakfst included the staff were fantstic although were not on site we were provided with their number in case of emergency we booked a dorm room for 6 of us but they do double rooms and singles the back door opens stright on the main car park in llangollen town centre.
the facilities available were fully fitted kitchen, dry room to dry off your wet gear, free wifi access, sheets and linen provided, en-suit the only thing you need to provide is a towel and food for lunch/tea, they even offered to store our boats for us over night if we wished.
