Ottertail. Ash & Teak 58"
Ottertail. One piece teak 64"
Chieftan. Ash & Mahogany 60"
Beavertail. Ash & Mahogany 47"
I have made all these paddles from reclaimed wood, the mahogany was a hand rail from a church. The teak from an old post office counter and the ash from a skip, the off cuts from solid wood flooring. And a big thank's go's to my dad for use of he's machinery to prepare the wood and blanks. The cost of all six paddles is £50 for oil, sandpaper, glue, and time roughly 2 hours a day for a week to complete from the blanks. Sadly i have run out of wood to make anymore , so i will start looking around for some more, so if you see somebody pulling wood out of skips, it might be me.
cheers cliveSmile
