Lovely summery photo Tim.

Roll on the warmer months!!
Meethinks Mordi?? With Fran????

Roll on the warm weather - getting fed up with the cold and damp and snow and stuff now - It also looks iffey for the week ahead - We're going to the NEC so the roads and campsites could be interesting round there. Sad

Graham.
And here's another picture to remind you of the Summer. It's a well known place to some on the Forum, was also Camelot in the film Merlin (the one with Sam Neil in it), but you probably won't recognise it as it isn't lashing down with rain or blowing a hoolie!! Llyn Gwynant Cool

Paddling in the warm weather seems like a good idea. I`ve not done it yet. Took an unscheduled exit from the canoe yesteday into the Wye at Llanstephan. Boy, was that fresh.shiver (well I had to fall in sooner or later). And poling with an aluminium pole is bleep cold on the hands. Don`t know if I could cope with the heat of the summer but I`ll, give it a good try.

I've got some shrink wrap to fit my aluminium pole but haven't fitted it yet!!! Cool

Ooh, there`s posh. Don`t think I`ll be going down the poling route. It`s handy to know as a traditional skill, but not much use for shoving a canoe full of beaver pelts up a UK river although I suppose there are circumstances where it could be used efectively. Now Lining and Tracking, enjoyed that. Can`t wait for the warm weather, where the mozzies and midges eat you alive.

Edited to fix quote - Nige
Poling's good for all sorts of things, including stretching the legs for a while and also using the pole as a K*^%k paddle as well!

You can also strap two opens together to make a multihull and work as a group.

You can also pole with it!!

Aaah - to be in Mordi - here's Josie chillin' last year!

Without the chaperones it was great, time went really quick, too quick in fact.

You will enjoy it.
