Just bought one of these from Amazon for £40-00.

It looks like the perfect jacket to take on a canoe trip, just as warm as a Down Jacket, but the fibres repel water which makes it a much better choice than a Down Jacket for canoeists, it packs up really small and even better is less than half the price of a Down Jacket.
Should be just the thing to wear in the evening when canoe camping or in the dry bag as emergency clothing when out for a paddle anywhere.

Do you have it in your mitts Terry...?
Looks quite interesting especially as they cater for the FBS crew...
Cheers

I do indeed Simon, (well I tell a lie really, at the moment it's hanging up in the wardrobe).
I must admit that I like Keela gear, and have a couple of their jackets, both of which I have found very good and hardwearing, they tend to have all the features of the more expensive brand jackets and cost a lot less.

Oh, by the way, who are the FBS crew?

In 1972 a cr*p canoe unit was sent to prison by a military court
for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a
maximum security stockade into the UK's paddling underground. Today,
still wanted by the government, they survive as members of C-WaV.
If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The FBS-Crew.....
Cheers

Lol - that's funny Red
I'm a big fan of Keela gear too, my Munro jacket is still going strong after nearly 12 years.
The Belay is similar to my Buffalo so I'll probably never get to try one, once the Spec 6 has worn out I said I'd treat myself to the Montane next.
Nice one Red
I have had Keela stuff for years now and find it excellent, hard wearing, warm and very comfortable.
Downside is the sizes they don't really do a FBS size

Similar primaloft type jackets are available from Rab (and others). A top tip. Buy a jacket with a hood. You will not regret it.
