Hi all

With all the paddling for Sport Relief happening this weekend I had it put to me to create a simple way to collect the donations. At the top of the page on the left hand side you'll see a yellow Paypal "Donate" button this is linked directly with my paypal and named CwaV Sport Releif Paddle. Those taking part and or those not who wish to donate anyway, simply click the button.

A fiver is the donation per adult or any more you could spare for any extra people, dogs or inanimate objects.

Saves collecting it on the bank side.

All donations to go to Sport Relief.
An excellent idea Nige Cool

I think we maybe joining the SE group this weekend at Shepperton, don't think Heather will be paddling a mile though unless she gets it wrong Wink
A most excellent idea joy, I'll be getting my £10 in before Saturday morning....

Just one question, will we be able to see, or will you be able to tell us, how much has been raised, in total, by C-WaV...Question

Cheers
Red.
I will be posting proof of the total raised before submitting it to Sport Relief.
I didn't mean it in an untrusting way, but it's cool that we'll all know what the community has raised.....Smile

I've not clicked on the link yet and figured it went to a direct donation site for Sport Relief, and wanted to know if Sport Relief would do the curtesy of letting us know what we raised....Shy

Whatever, I think it's a brilliant idea...

Cheers
Red.
You can go onto the Sport Relief web-site and make a C-Wav team page like I did for Windsor Canoe Club here (http://www.mysportrelief.com/WindsorCanoeClub) - then the donations and total will be visible on a little sockometer!

Sounds like a little job for our demon webmaster,,, NIGE where are you? would of course act as a bit of an advert as well Wink

This Link works better Fran Wink
Bugga! I missed that when I went and had a look yesterday. Shy
Well I've created a Team page...I think!

Wish I'd seen this yesterday. Shy Shy

It is a better way of doing it just means now I have to figure out how to show the the two donations already made via the donate button.

C-waV Team page
Yep it works for me, nice one Nige Wink

So come on all join the team joy
Okay! Change of plan.

The Team page is a far better idea to collect donations for the C-waV Sport Relief Paddle, thanks Fran for pointing this out.

So those taking part over the weekend or indeed those not but still would like to show their support, please do so by visiting the C-waV Team page and make your donations there!

Remember also to highlight the "GiftAid" option

Gift Aid If this payment is a personal donation, you are a UK taxpayer, and you select "YES" here, the Government will give us at least 25% extra. All you need to do is pay enough UK tax in the current tax year to cover the 25% we will claim

Thanks for your support.
