After what seems like a lifetime spent stripping a Carlisle paddle of varnish for a pyrograph project, I'm left wondering whether there are any manufacturers out there, preferably at the more economical end of the market, that would supply unfinished versions? Not enough hours in the day to contemplate making my own! Would love to be able to purchase unfinished ones for burn projects.
