Duse anyone use solar panels when they are canoeing?
No, But I have got a source of them availble to me.

I always take along a SolarMonkey solar panel to recharge my mobile phone and camera. Its simple and very effective.

Ahh But Nige.....you don't need electrickerie for Curling tongs, hairs straighteners or irons there a gas versions available for the Yuppie Camper

Well us tecnophobs need them to power up our gizmo's in the tin tent's don't we Tim Wink

Like hot running water, showers, warm air blown heating (the clean kind Wink ) actually I use one to trickle charge the caravan battery when it is stood doing nothing, works a treat Cool
Back to Iain's initial question...

...Why?
Because I hate running out of power on the camera...

And keeping the Dog charged is useful if a situation develops...
