Very pleasant site, in the middle of nowhere, ground fires are allowed .

Stream with pools that are safe for kids on hot days.

Prices at Feb 2010 £7.50 per night for tents.

Nantcol used to just be a field with no running water, last year a toilet and shower block appeared (in keeping with the local surroundings), making the site a little more comfortable without removing the "wild feel" too much.

Advice would be not to go during bank or kids summer holidays, the site can get very full during these times, but at other times will be sparsley populated.

Open ALL YEAR.

Caters for Vans too.

Not suitable for Hammocking.

Travelling from Barmouth to Harlech, in Llanbedr, instead of turning left for Shell Island, carry on over the bridge and turn right at the Victoria pub, follow signs for Waterfalls.
