Just got back from a Weekend Hammocking, not wishing to insult anyones intelligence, or teach my grandmother to suck eggs, but just to highlight a Tip of mine to those people who may decide to try the very enjoyable Camping trip Hammocking.
My tip is :- Having chosen your suitable trees to sling your Hammock in, LOOK UP. Pictures speak a thousand words,

Possible not so apparent, but can be seem the very large Branch along with the smaller one were in danger of falling as they were just lodged in the top of the trees and if a wind was to get up, there was a very real danger of falling down, doesn't leave a lot to the imagination had someone decided to sling a Hammock under those trees. this was a place I regularly use and the storm damaged trees were OK last time I was there
