after a lot of thought about displacement - cash flow and grumpy woman waiting at home I went for the venture prospector 16 - it kinda fits - if you now what I mean?
and Mrs D has just sat in it with a smile on her face and passed me a cutting she took from the paper about canoe trips in Norfolk!
things might be looking up!
I'm very excited - now just need to figure out how to get away solo!

There will be a few of us paddling in Norfolk next month, 9th to 16 June.

unfortunately we're already booked to go to Scotland to visit friends - but I'm thinking of making a detour to find some water if the weather is nice - sadly Norfolk would be too much of a detour that weekend. but plans will be made!

Either you've met her or her reputation has gone before her - if you haven't met her, be very very frightened - I told her what a nice guy you are and how much of a good influence on me - she used to think I only mix with people having a mid life crisis who drink a lot! but now she thinks I've joined a new scout group with the moral and ethical value of saints
Now she wants to meet you all and is thinking of coming to a CWAV event
and I thought you were my excuse for a quiet weekend away!
