Well this weekend sees the Manchester Canoe Club division 1/2 slalom races on Saturday and Sunday, by all accounts there is a full entry
Sure we will meet up with many friends there, looking forward to a good weekends racing

I'll be hiding in the portacabin praying the race will run smoothly & let me get a kip
As Mark still can't sit in his kayak after his swim down the Tryweryn, he's racing in Div 2 in his C1. He has only paddled straight down the course twice in his C1

Wonder what he'll break this time
He still hasn't fixed his kayak paddle - think it's a good excuse not to paddle his kayak at the moment

Well that should give the rescue team something to do then

what's it worth not to fish him out if he does go for a swim

A fiver....
But I'll give you a tenner if you throw some rotten fruit and veg at him....
Cheers
Red.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday, it's a long time since I've been to HPP. I'll have a very excited young lady with me who has been sat in the car since Friday night.
See you there!
Don't forget the rotten fruit
See you all in the morning

Great weekend
I think that the Swim League table may want up dating

I agree I think it's only minor changes

Minor changes
I believe Mark managed to complete 1 out of 6 runs
Mike completed 2 out of 6 runs
They certainly kept Graeme & Iain busy

- thanks for the help guys
I believe mark is looking to go back to racing his kayak and not his c1 as soon as he can sit in it

Can't understand why
Perhaps some extra padding on the seat would help?

LOL.... I know it was warm, but taking a dip during your run is a bit excessive....
Cheers
