Well i've finally joined the Swim League, 3 times infact in one night! though as it was on purpose it won't count on the Official C-waV League tableTongue.

Have joined a localish canoe club now that i'm swaying to the T/K more, can't believe how much i learnt on my first visit to the club and how much more at home i felt in the boat as i was in my wetsuit. Now just need to get that feeling when loaded up for a normal run, I never thought you could play water polo in a T/K but it was great fun, playboats pahh simply place long T/K between them and ball and there stuffedWink

Andy.
Which club you joined Andy?

Clubs are always a good way to increase learning Wink
Boston Canoe Club down on the Witham http://bostoncanoeclub.org.uk/

Friendly bunch, 2 of the instructers are paddling around Lincolnshire this next week

Sponsored Paddle

On the 22nd May 2010 two members of Boston Canoe Club will undertake their biggest challenge yet! A 175 mile paddle around Lincolnshire to raise money for Pilgrims Breast Unit and UK Cancer Reserch.

Starting out from Boston John Chapman and Paul Skinner will head upstream through the city of Lincoln to Torksey where the Witham meets the River Trent, from here they will head North through Gainsborough along the Trent to Trent Falls where the Trent meets the mighty River Humber, following the Humber they will exit into the North Sea and down the East Coast passing Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Skegness before entering The Wash for the final leg back into Boston via The Haven.

All this will be hopefully done in just 7 days!

So quite an adventurous bunch Smile

Andy.
Sounds good Andy, hope they enjoy the trip.
Top marks to them, great causes.
