Canoe with a View : : Canadian Open Canoe forum

On the banks of the river Severn, with easy access from the M6, the Wingfield Arms campsite provides an excellent base camp for exploration of the mid-Severn..., it can also be used by Canoe Campers as an overnighter on their journey down the river...




The site is well run, friendly, flat and kept very clean. Approx. 20 Hookups are available, but booking is advisable (Two Weeks min. Peak Season). There's plenty of space (three fields) for camping, but a quick call a few days before would be recommended..

The Camping is far enough away from the Pub that you don't notice it, but no more than a couple of minute's walk, there's a well sorted and enjoyed kids playground that is next to the "beer garden", and good pub food that comes with praise a plenty....

Cost for the caravan field for 2 people is £18-00 with hook up per night
