Cheers for the heads up on this Red. Picked one up yesterday on the way back from a camp. We're away again in a couple of weeks so we should have chance to try it out then.

Took this away last weekend for a long weekend. It is pitched over a VauDe Division Dome 5 man tent that people may have seen on Cwav meets. Here are some pics to give an idea of size.







So how did it perform? Well I have to say really well. It was a bit of a fiddle to set up so that I was happy with it. However first time with any tent or similar is never as slick as future uses and it was also partly due to me having OCD and wanting the centre seam to line up perfectly with the centre line of the tent. There was ample space for a table and chairs to seat four. Also the sides come quite low down with our tent so it gives quite a bit of shelter from the wind from the sides. We were camping in a field high up on a ridgeline near Pendle Hill in Lancashire and during the night on the first night it really blew up a hooley. I lay in my sleeping bag listening to the wind dreading what I would find outside and the Awning shook it all off. There was a bit of flapping but no sign of it trying to take off or self destruct. The wind kept up for about 24 hours and the awning showed no signs of having any problems at all.

Great to hear they can stand up to a bit of weather too.....
