4T, The Story of my Prospector and Me.
I was fast approaching forty and I was hankering for a canoe to paddle solo,
I had tried all sorts of canoes from most of the "popular" makes. Until my wife Mandy blagged me a go in a We-No-Nah Prospector 15, oh how all the pieces fitted together this was the boat for me. I was told that we couldn't afford one.......:-( . All I could do was dream....
One day after a particularly bad day at work I received a phone call from Mandy that the car had broken down ....:'-( Oh how I cussed.
I strolled to where the car was parked hidden, well imagine if you can my face when I saw what was on top of the car, a WNN P15 with wood trim. Brand fire new, straight from across the big pond. I was gob smacked (oh the car hadn't broke down either) seven months before I was forty (hence forty = 4T) I had my dream boat all thanks to my wonderful wife ....gush gush.... who had saved the money and ordered it totally without my knowledge. So there you go the story of me and 4T and all thanks to my top wife Mandy. I have tried many a boat since and to be honest my Prospector is still THE boat for me.

Cheers
Tim

Great story Tim, thanks for sharing.

I must admit to being a closet fan of the We-no-nah Prospector and being a fan of composite boats it'll have to be either one in Tuf-weave or ultimately the Kevlar, and wood trim of course. Wink

I can but dream!

I must admit I would love to try one of their uber light weight P15's .........let us dream on, I like the look of the Itesca for tripping in, Bill would love it too 19ft of expedition canoe 22kg in the kevlar ultra light....

Cheers
Tim
There is nothing like a good prospector for all round paddling!

Nice one Tim. No way I'd call my boat 5T though as everyone would know how old I nearly was.
