Hello. I'm new in canoeing in fact this weekend I will try first time canoe in one of the canoeing club. Look forward for all advice from You.
Koks
Hi Koks,
Great to hear that you're about to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of Canoeing.....
Where abouts are you based....
Hope we can help with your new adventure..
Best regards
Red.
I live in Twickenham / South West London - close to Thames

Brilliant...
You've got lots of clubs down that way....
And with a bit of luck one of the Thames and SE CCC (Canoe Camping Club) crew will be along soon to welcome you..., there's a right good bunch down your way, with loads going on....
There's also the Chelmer meet next weekend over Essex way if you fancy meeting some of the C-WaV crew (see Out and About), you don't need a boat, just a tent and a penchant for fun....
Cheers
Red.
Hi Koks
welcome to the forum!Happy paddling!
Welcome to C-waV Koks, hope you find what you need here.
Cheers
Tim
Hi koks, welcome
I'm not too far from you. We should plan a trip sometime.
Thanks guys for warm welcome. I hope join you on the water soon but at the moment I look for the proper canoe for me and sometimes for me and my wife.
So far I checked few and I think the winner for me is nova craft prospector 16 in royalex or royalex lite. what are your thoughts?
mmm...Not the 16 for solo....
What type of paddling do you intend to do.... How often will you be solo... ?
Pop over to the Chelmer this weekend if you can, there'll be a few different boats for you to try out and it's not a million miles away from Twickenham....
If you can DEFINATELY make it over I'll drag the NC Prospector 15 in RX down for you to try...
Alternatively you could PM GrahamD, VanessaD, or AlexD on here, they're based on your side of the "smoke" and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to spend a few hours with you, and they have access to a plethora of different boats....
Cheers
Red.
Sorry I'm late with the welcome Koks, but a big warm C-waV welcome anyway. Good to see that you're settling in, I hope you're finding the answers to your questions, plenty on here will certainly do their best to answer them. Enjoy the forum and hopefully we'll see you on the water very soon.

A warm welcome to the forum
Windsor Canoe Club has a good open boat following, sure Fran will pop up at sometime to give you the low down or as Red suggests drop the 'D's a PM

unfortunatly they didn't have any boat in 15ft. all 16 footers.
I would love to try nc 15 rx or rx lite.
