Hi C-waV,

Glad i've stumbled across this site, as it looks like you(C-waV) are going to take some of the stress out of planning forcoming trips.
Been paddling for about 25 yrs now, however as i've become less bendy, the paddling has also become less demanding. Moved from kayaks to canoes, and treated myself to a Discovery 158 last year after years of hiring and now spend loads of time out with me lad (10yrs) and occasionally the missus.
Spent our first night out in a hammock a few weeks ago. BINGO! no aches no pains and slept like a baby.
Live in Devon.

Cheers

Hi and welcome to CWaV

Good to know you are having fun with your canoe. Devon's a great place to paddle, do you go in the sea?

Hi Smokerboats and a big warm welcome to C-waV. Now taht you're "less bendy" Big Grin I think you'll fit right in here, there are indeed a fair number on C-waV all in various states of less bendiness!!

Let us know your rough location and see if there are any members in your area. Always a good idea to keep an eye on the "Out n about" section, usually there is someone planning a paddle if you're ever in need of company.

Look forward to hearing more from you, and hopefully we'll catch up for a paddle sometime.

Nige.
