Got me a deep dish carrying yoke from Dave Crooks at Endless River, not cheap but if you carry your boat on your shoulders like me it is a well worth addition.
Oh and it looks sweeeeeeet.

Far more comfortable than the standard yokes.

Now that looks the Dogs B*bleep*ks. Compared to that the one in my boat is just Kelly Fodder. Campfire Mike.
Very nice yoke there Tim Smile

Is this time for some yokes?

What do you call a man with a wooden ed?

Ho, ho, ho
Two inuits were sitting in their canoe. Being in the arctic, they were quite cold, and so decided to risk it and light a fire in their canoe. They did so, and immediately sank. This just goes to prove that you can't have our kayak and heat it too.

Looks quite a bit like a Novacraft yoke (but from laminate). Don't have one here to compare. Anyone else think so?

It does look a bit like a Nova Craft yoke just maybe a bit deeper...
Cheers

After carrying my Chalres river, 32kgs plus the blocks, spare clothes and water etc, in one go from Loch Ness up the lock path to the Caley canal I thought about buying one. But, I wrap my neoprene kneeling mat around the neck yoke, makes a huge difference.

I too have a "deep dish" yoke. Mine is made from cherry. It really is as comfortable as it gets. Even on my boney sholders. I have to angle it a wee bit when resting on my shoulders, but I doubt I could get anything more comfortable. My boat weighs 32kgs + a couple of kilos with the sliding seat and foot brace in place:
