Going to the Axevale sea canoeing weekend next weekend, so looked up the weather on metcheck, it was giving winds of over 400mph, now I know long range forecasts are not that accurate, but should I take a sail.

Yes, but only a very very small one if those winds are even close

Sadly we're not going, we had planned to but best laid plans etc....

someone has corrected the data and it is now 3-5mph, so I may have to go paddling instead of staying in the pub all day, if it had not been blown away.
