I've just got myself a small 0.5l Ghillie Kettle to take out in the boat. I'm a bit worried that if I just put it in a dry bag with everything else it may get knocked about and dented. How does everyone else pack theirs? The most obvious thing I can think of is if I could find a round plastic container the right size, but where from? Does anyone have any ideas?
I go for one of two options. I either just leave it in it's drawstring bag, so that I know what it is and treat accordingly, or put it in my barrel/coolbox with everything else packed around it. Neither of these is to prevent knocks, just to stop it tipping over as I invariably carry it full of water and the cork leaks.
What's the diameter - you could see if it fits in a soil pipe?
you should of just left it packed in the shop.... LOL

It fits into a bdh container and lid keeps the smell in too.

Thanks for that Nick. I thought I remembered seeing something about that on a forum somewhere ages ago but couldn't remember where or find it.
Any idea which size bdh container Nick? I see they do 1, 2 and 3 lit sizes.
