We are running a new BCU 1 & 2 Star award on the 11/12th October in the Doncaster area, if anyone is interested please let me know.
We will be supplying other craft such as kayak's, sit on tops, canoes etc for people to use as these are now generic awards.
The course will be offered at a discounted rate to C-WaV members.

The syllabus for the
One Star and the
Two Star our normal rate for the two awards would be £160.00 per head, special C-WaV members rate 1/2 price £80.00 for the two days per head, we have a limited number of places as we aim to make sure that all participants get the highest level of coaching for them to achieve the awards, the BCU ratio is 1:6 (1 coach to 6 pupils) we usually operate on a 1:3 ratio to maintain our success rate of getting candidates to the required standard.
We will be using two venues, a private lake near Doncaster (5 mins from the shop) on the Saturday and the Chesterfield canal on the Sunday for a trip and final assessment, this is a lovely stretch of the canal from Drakeholes with spots for stops for lunch and a pub at the end for the debrief etc.

Just got the new PYB brochure through for next year, for their 2* course the cost is £300.00 for training and assessment, hmmmm must put our prices up
