Whilst on the broads Terry lent me "Paddle to the Amazon" with instruction to pass it on when finished, I did to Nige at the E.O.S.M.
So now I am going to put up a couple of canoe books to lend out, in the hope others will have canoe books that they will post on here for loan.
Then we can get a merry-go-round of canoe based fact and fiction being passed between members 
I think the best way to do it is post on the thread with a brief description of the book and if some one else want's it post on the thread, P.M address for postal details or pass on at a meet. So come on get some books up and let's get swapping

Regarded as one of the best instructional white water books.
VOYAGEUR by Robert Twigger.
Across the Rocky Mountains in a Birchbark canoe.

If you haven't already read it I'd recommend VOYAGEUR. You'll never complain about paddling against the current on a river again. I also have a copy I'm happy to loan out. Great read by the way.

it would be nice to sign and date it when read so we can see who has had them

Wasn't me, i borrowed yer hammock book but returned it unsigned. I made up for it whilst waiting for you on the Tees by carving my initials in the bottom of your boat with my rescue knife.

Very good! The level of madness required to undertake a trip like this doesn't bear thinking about.
I'm at the point where they've just set off inland, so should be finished soon.
