"Frostbite" trip: Norfolk Broads

There really cannot be a better time to visit the broads than early in the year! Before the holidaymakers and motorcruiser dodging. The waterways are more or less boat free and the magic of broadland becomes even more apparent at this time of the year.

Its been a wish of mine for quite a number of years now, and to fulfill this desire has grown even more since we started canoeing. I do have other reasons for making this trip, and that is to gather some material for my new project. Whistle

We will be camping shiver at a small site(field) next to a pub Whistle not far from the river Ant.

Date: Feb 5th, 6th & 7th leaving early on the 8th

So, this is an invite for anyone to join us, whether for the whole duration of the trip or just for a day.

More details to follow!
keep us informed...Cool
This could be interesting
Will know nearer the time

I am hoping to make this one. Work is usually slack at the beginning of the year, so I shall pencil it in as I won't know till nearer the time.

Richard.
Cash dependant for me new boat to pay for Whistle But if I can I will be there Wink
The campsite is at the Dog Inn (stop giggling Gav), 300yards from the Put-in at Ludham Bridge. Camping is A fiver a night, no need to book just turn up. The only facilities are the lav's which they do leave open and the pub, which I understand serves some very nice meals.
