Waterquest 14 review
Spec’s
Length 14' | Width 42" | Weight 89lbs | Capacity 700lbs

Review
The waterquest 14 is great for family days out on the river. At only 14' long, its compact size makes it easy to store and transport, but its extra width makes it nice and stable. With a cool box seat in the middle, and cupholders, it's just perfect for a waterborne picnic, it also an excellent platform for fishing.
It may seam wide but it dose not look out of proportion for its size, it is very stable as a result. The only drawback that it may have is the weight of it, at 89lbs it is heaver then other open canoes on the market.

this picture is of a waterquest 14 on the water with me paddling.

Looks a sound craft mi ode! Not one I've seen much about so thanks for posting the review.
Sounds like a good little boat. Most 14ft boats tend to be quite narrow so sounds like a good stable craft, well done. You say you can fish from it?
Originally these boats were imported into the UK by Johnson Outdoors better known as the manufacturer of Old Town, Necky and Ocean Kayak craft.

They were an extremely slow seller in the UK whilst being a very stable craft and ideally suited to the sports, fisherman, family who wanted a stable platform the downside was the width as being so wide it was difficult to fit on a standard roofrack, they are also extremely heavy for the size.

Johnson Outdoors stopped importing them about 2 years ago, they were then imported by H20 Kayaks who I believe now have stopped importing them.

Cheers Graeme

yes, you need the stability when fishing as to for other activities .
Errr what other activities would you have in mind?? Shy
Well going by the stability and width aspect I would say 10 pin bowling Tongue
That sure is one heavy boat.
