It is well worth a visit even if it to see what you can't afford. the show covers all aspect of boating including all the accessories that go with them.
If I can afford to go again when funds allow.
No, not managed to get for sometime now! Haven't been for years.
Do many manufacturers exhibit at the show? I understand that trade-stands are quite dear.

I think that if Nige, Gav and I went it would end up with all three of us being single, broke but well equipped on the new boat front. It seems a bit of an awkward place to have a boat show as London is a pain to get into. I know the outdoor exhibitors were faced with a huge bill for a stand so that has dropped a bit in success and I guess the London show is a little diverse for me as I'm only really interested in opens.
I used to like the Southampton show as a kid ,I used to spend most of the show in the kids sailing area sailing blue peters and toppers whilst dad went looking at the yachts. I can't remember if there were any canoes back in those days.

fond memories

Most of the canoe related manufacturers pulled out of the London Boat show some years ago due to inflated prices to exhibit, some now attend the Caravan and camping show at the NEC but events like Paddlefest and Canoexpo.

Sorry missed that

This year was a bit strange or I am out of the loop as there weren't many, if any, free tickets this year
A great day out if you are simply just a boat boat person
