Hi Paul,

Weekdays are out for me unfortunately...Sad

I'd be more than happy to do the Dee, Farndon to Chester or Chester Beach - Ecclestone and back with you on Sat or Sun.....Wink

Paul, I have a few holidays remaining at work and the weather is looking good up in the lake district on Thurs do you fancy Coniston or Windermere Question
I will know for definite tomorrow depending on work load.
I've been considering a lake somewhere in the Lake District on Thursday(not thought where though yet), will need to discuss with Mark later but am pretty sure we're out on Thursday.
Sounds cool to me Retro, just let me know, and gill of course.
If its windy though im fecked, as my paddle strokes aint the strongest at the mo.

Paul
Paul,Gill holiday accepted, work load for Thursday shelved, and meetings cancelled Smile
So what time can you get up here for and where do you want to paddle I wouldn't mind a day on Coniston as I need to check out a W/C spot Whistle but I am open to other places............. Top end of Windermere taking in the Brathey and Rathey.
Coniston sounds just fine to me. I cant leave Bolton before 8am, so should be up there at 10, and i need to leave Coniston about 3. Could meet up at the Bluebird cafe if you want, but ill be guided by you. As for checking out a wild camp spot, im well up for that, Its probably the main reason i got my boat in the first place.

My j stroke is not the strongest, so you may have to wait a few times for me to catch up !

looking forward to it mate.

Paul

It's about a 2 1/2 hr drive so 10 o'clock at Coniston sounds good. I had visions of you guys saying 7am ILL

I've never been, nor have I paddled on any lakes other than Rudyard Shy so happy to go where ever you guys want to.
10 Bluebird will be fine, paddle South, lunch paddle back. Don't forget your camera great time of the year on Coniston, this was last year at around the same time.
